To Answer that Question...

My dear nephew D posted a statement and question elsewhere and I would like to use my blog to give my response:
So i found some videos on Youtube posted by an Apostolic UPC that talks bout "the trinity" & how its unbiblical but they call these churches that believe in "the trinity" gypsies...do you believe they should have use that term?
D, I love that you think a lot and ask questions, it's always the right thing to do - to ask.  Sometimes we ask to find answers, sometimes to provoke thought in others, sometimes a "question" is really a statement. I am proud of you.

First of all a gypsy is very simply:  One inclined to a nomadic, unconventional way of life. and what is so terrible about that I would ask!  A Jew would laugh at the irony, and ignorance in the one that would attempt to make insult by stating the fact.

Praise God the Jews in leaving bondage as God planned and traveling (as gypsy's) to the Promised Land did in fact follow God's commandment and become the Nomad's that they were.  Praise God that the Jews in reaching the Promised land did live as gypsy's in tents and did spread their selves all about the new promised land and did grow in lineage and cover the land as they were commanded, right? And how else would God have built the Great Nation called Israel!  This was His plan and Praise God that the Gypsy's listened.

Trinity:  A group consisting of three closely related members.
THE Trinity: The Father, Son and Holy Ghost. (Amen to that)

In becoming Christians and believing with faith that the Father is the Creator, the Son is the ultimate Sacrifice (the third and final Covenant) and the Holy Ghost is our Grace from God forever with us, we are Gypsy's. And I say that with great pride.  We are the generations, even though born in the flesh as Gentiles now made Jewish by our rebirth and heritage from the Son of God our Jewish brother.  What's not to be proud of?

The Trinity as we both know, of course it is Biblical, just as being a gypsy is, it is not at all the insult those attempting to correct God meant it to be.  I would remind us all of the scripture Matthew 28:

18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

When Christ said "Go" known as the Great Commandment, the one commandment that Christ left us with, he meant the verb "go".

Leave your Church pew - go, leave the walls of your house - go, leave your comfortable lifestyle if God leads you - go.  Go on the internet, Go in letters, Go by word of mouth, with your feet and hands, in every aspect of our lives "Go".  Go with the Holy Ghost and spread the Word of the Trinity and Salvation for all.  Christ took on the life of a gypsy too as He traveled the land and did spread the word of His Father, he did "go".

There are many traveling Pastors, in the Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist and other Trinity affiliated Churches.  There are many Gypsy Missionaries all over the world,  Praise God.

Their lack of knowledge of the Holy Word of God is sad and we should pray for them in earnest, their attempt to insult by the reference they made to being Gypsy's that's just laughable.

May we all follow Christ's commandment and "GO", Amen.

I'm just saying! and that's my response to your post. You just keeping thinking and making others think also.

Love you and praise God you are willing to put it out there by speaking up at such a young age, keep listening as God speaks and teaches you.  Let God be your filter, listen as the Holy Ghost leads you and follow.

  1. From Daniel (copy/paste)
Daniel Barber i wrote that i disagree with "the trinity belief",that the verse you gave uses the singular word "name".Father,Son & Holy Ghost are not names but titles. We couldnt cash a check that says son/daughter altho we are sons/daughters of someone.

  2. The singular is correct, and the three separate is correct, - How amazing God is.
That he can be the One God and intervene in our lives as three separate entities - He is Amazing.

  3. Scripture emphasizes the "singular plurality" of the Godhead when it says,
(1 John 5:7 KJV) "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
We're not required to understand God, just believe Him.
    "Nuff said!"
