When Nobody Cares

1 Peter 5: 5, 6,7

Likewise ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea all of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility: for God RESISTETH THE PROUD. AND GIVETH GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you.

Sometimes in life, I, and I believe most all of us feel like no one cares or no one respects us or maybe that they just don't want us in their life. Sometimes life just feels very 'heavy' doesn't it?

Maybe the darkness hits us because of our relationship with a child, brother or sister or any family member or friend is very strained. We can get so involved in trying to carry the load and fix things, to be strong, that we loose sight for a time of what is and isn't in our control.

Well life has shown me that pretty much nothing is in 'my control'! We all make mistakes, we fall short, we just get plain stupid some times and there is nothing absolutely nothing that we can do to go back in time or to change what has happened.

We have to move forward - move forward and be secure in the fact that He is there, that He can fix anything (Jeremiah 32:17) and that He always cares.

When we believe in Christ as our personal Savior who died on the cross and carried all our sins away opening the very door to Heaven - we are never alone, never unloved and know without doubt the Someone (He) cares.

Letting goooooooo! My! but I have to use that a lot and am stubborn about getting there, which begs the question, "why does He put up with me?" BECAUSE HE CARES.

  1. Oh! What a wonderful thought. He cares for me. Remembering that and hanging on to that can get me through a whole lot of junk.

    Blessings, Miawa.

  2. Oh yes the uncontrollable heavy load that I insist on carrying around all the time. I too need to remember to Let gooooooooooooo because He does care even if no one else does
