Have a Blessed Weekend

Psalm 117

1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations praise him, all ye people

2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Have you ever read anything else that sounded so sweet? That sounded so complete and fulfilling? I haven't.

Have a blessed, calm and fulfilling weekend in the Lord God Almighty. Reach out to someone and give of yourself. Enjoy!

  1. "Somebody's Praying"

That song brings me to tears every time I hear it. For the last year of Stephen's life I listened to that song almost every day and prayed for God to rescue him, change him, bring him "home" spiritually. Home to God, home to the things he knew to be right and good. Home to his Heavenly Father.

God answered those prayers. It just wasn't the way I expected Him to do it.

It's a beautiful song, a wonderful song. It reminds me to pray diligently, while there is still time, for so many people I know and love.

Lord, may my every breath, right up to my last, be a prayer.

    Blessings,
    Jean

  2. I treasure that song it means so much to me. You sent it to me on a cd you made that I have literally worn out. There were so many times I was desperate and felt alone didn't know how to give it to God and so in need and I played that cd with that song and felt like I was going to make it.
    It's a wonderful comforting song.

  3. Amen. Thank you, Jesus!

Most of the time we don't know--can't even imagine--how much good our prayers are doing and how powerful they are.
