Our Reward is Heaven

Matthew 5:11-12 (King James Version)

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Becoming a Christian does not mean that your life will suddenly become perfect and all will be wonderful. It does mean through all of those earthly dramas that go on in your life, you have someone much stronger, wiser and forgiving to handle those things with you. Someone to be right there when you need Him, someone to give you what you need to bare the turmoils, someone who will carry you through even into eternity - your reward is the great gift of eternity with our Father in Heaven not earthly treasures.

Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

  1. The Lord is going to bless this blog, I just know it! Soon someone is going to just CLICK on it and see the wonderful, beautiful truth that you state so plainly here. And that "someone" is going to ask Jesus into his or her heart - right then and there.

Won't it be something when you arrive in heaven someday, and someone you never met on earth rushes up to you. Throws arms wide open, hugs you tight, and says through tears "I asked Jesus into my heart sitting in front of my computer. I'm here because of your blog!"

    It will happen.
