Constant Change, It's Maddening

I was thinking earlier today after having a small meltdown, how difficult it is to keep up with change. Here I am 57 had all these years to take in knowledge and become valuable from the compounding of all that know-how and in today's world it's worthless. Arrrrrrgh!

Here we are in a world dominated in every aspect of our lives by computers. Computers that constantly, daily even hourly change. The needs and requirements are an endless demand of "new" technology and software. In fact, "the more you know the more you need to know" it's is a vicious cycle that I see no end to. I have been using computers since they hit the market for businesses and homes and as fast as I learn, they change, how frustrating!

Oh Lord thank You so much that You and Your Holy Word never change, I can count on every day everything being the same. Sin is not relative (contrary to certain sermons I have heard on the subject) and basic human needs are not relative (again, "contrary to...). Lord God Your Word and Your 10 Commandments hold as true and steadfast today as they did when they were created, even imagined by You. You are my safety net, You are my calm in the storm, You are my never changing safe landing, thank You, thank You, thank You. Amen

Not even a shadow of a change...
