Her ...Lord, I pray especially for my friend, Karen. Her only child is now in Iraq for his third tour. Last week when 3 Americans died in Iraq Karen was a wreck. In that same week Karen held the hand of her step-mother as she took her last breath on earth. <br /><br />Yesterday during church her cell phone rang. A quick glance told her it was her son. She ran out of the church whispering, "Don't hang up. I'm here. I'm here."<br /><br />"I'm here." That's all a Mom can say when the child of her heart puts himself in harms way to protect everything and everyone back home.<br /><br />"I'm here." Help Karen and all those Moms and Dads, siblings, spouses, little kids, friends, and sweethearts who are spending a year of anxiety, holding their breath, waiting for each phone call or email.
